My life was in a sorry state, without a shelter not even a bathroom. I had lost hope, my children could hardly afford a meal. With F.C.B.U education and agricultural support programs my children and grand children are now accessing free education. My life has been transformed into a responsible hopeful lady of a purpose. And most importantly I am now living among the communities as an exemplary woman training my colleagues in the communities.

My Name is Magala Maddie, I live in Butiki Village in Mafubira Sub County in Uganda. I thank FCB-Uganda for working as a vessel through which God has transformed my life. I was surely living a non-purposeful life, I had no hopes of becoming who I am today. I am now living a purposeful life, I spend my time in agriculture, construction and these are working for me to earn a living. FCBU has also granted me an opportunity to work with the team to support transformation of other colleagues who are living hopeless lives.

Through FCBU's spiritual care and psychosocial support, our children living with HIV have improved quality of life and reduced risky behaviors.

FCBU's business skills training and savings programs have empowered our orphaned youth to become self-sustaining and productive community members.

The nutrition education and backyard garden projects from FCBU have transformed our household food security and given our families renewed hope.
